It’s been a very busy and productive week in school, from family consultations to Harvest services and farm visits.

This was a fantastic idea from Year 2’s visit to Magdalene farm, today, and Elliot has made a brilliant effort at this nature frame. Others created objects from clay and it sounds like a super time together as a class.
Over in Chestnut Class, they have been very busy cooking, drawing and generally having a great time:

Lots of the pupils in there want to say a big ‘thanks’ to the Alex in Key Stage 2 for gifting them his garage set from home. It has already been used so much in Chestnut!

There are so many sportspeople at Thurlbear School – and in every class. From sailors and street dancing specialists, through to rugby players and swimmers, it is fantastic to see what success our pupils achieve. In that spirit, well done to our pupils that attended the recent cross country after school. This is open to Key Stage 2 pupils and families attend and support them as they join in.
