End of Week 9 Review

To start our review at the end, Rowan Class have just given us much to smile about in their Friday Celebration Worship, showing thanks to their siblings, parents, friends and pets at home. For children who are 5 and 6, their confidence and clarity in front of 220+ people was inspirational, so well done to all the Year 1 team for their daily commitment and quality. Miss Young, our trainee teacher, should be particularly proud of the letters that were shared, as she was instrumental in their creation. It always makes me very proud to see our trainees flourish and we ‘train up a teacher in the way they should go’!

Oak Class had a brilliant visit to Taunton Racecourse at the beginning of the week, immersing themselves in lots of maths problems and investigations, as well as visiting the parade and the riders and runners!

Back in school, Hazel have been sorting through their ‘book campfire’ and investigating what genres they have
and that are popular.
