Our Dress Down Friday dates for the rest of the year:
– March 7th.
– THURSDAY 3rd April (due to Easter Bonnets and Easter Services).
– May 2nd.
– June 6th (Provisional Sports day, so sportswear!).
– July 4th.
PTA News:
Thanks to your contributions and support of the PTA, we have been able to:
– complete our whole Key Stage 1 guided reading scheme, meaning we have supplementary texts across the whole of Early Years and Key Stage 1. This keeps our breadth, quality and consistency of quality reading texts for our youngest pupils. This also reaches into Year 3, where we now have even more high-interest-lower-reading-age books.
– start the purchase of a new oven / hob, meaning we can plan bigger cooking projects into our Curriculum!

Here is our list of after-school Clubs for T2 HT2. A paper copy will come home on Monday. The younger pupils will have some sport options in the Summer term (after Easter) as they have found this term very cold and sign-up has been lower. Instead, Mrs Fletcher is a leading a Craft Club for Years 1 and 2, with some of our older pupils as super helpers. Choir will continue, also, for Years 1 and 2.
We are trying to ensure a breadth of coverage to the best of our ability. More clubs will arise as the weather gets warmer after Easter and the field will be a permanent option for us to “Thrive Outside“!
