At the end of the Summer, I was delighted to talk with former pupil Lily, who came with a wonderful gift for Thurlbear School.
After her family had successfully organised the brilliant annual Taunton Vintage and Salvage Fair, she presented us with a very generous cheque for £669!
This has gone directly towards a purchase for our Year 4 classroom, where we now have 32 brand-new, smart chairs! At a cost of nearly £1,000, you can appreciate what a boost receiving such a contribution can be for us.
