BAM Packed Lunch trial

In conjunction with BAM, our lunchtime providers, we are trialling a brand new lunch option for our families! This is available in very few BAM schools but, if it proves popular for you, then it may be extended into the next half term and beyond.
From Monday 29th September, families will be able to order a school packed lunch offer, exactly how you order a hot meal and for the same price. The lunch will contain ham/cheese sandwich, yoghurt, a piece of fruit and the pudding of the day! We feel this trial has many advantages:
• Some days, the hot menu may not appeal to your child, so this is an extra option.
• It provides great flexibility and assistance for busy families, as this can be ordered up to midnight the night before just like our hot meals. I know I would love this option sometimes for my 6yr old and his fickle ways!
• With inflation and rising food costs, this static one-price can mean families don’t need to try and source their own packed lunch ingredients.
• BAM are very open for feedback, and we could potentially see a successful trial lead to a permanent option and potential improvements.
• It could open up the offer of a BAM option to more families in Key Stage 2 who regularly want a packed lunch option.


The menu will be available to order from Monday 29th September.

ALERT!! The down-side: This will knock out pre-existing orders as this will be a new menu, so please re order your children's meals. We are very sorry for this inconvenience. Anyone who has ordered already will NOT have been charged, as the system does not charge you until your child has clicked through the BAM system on the day of lunch service.
