Dates for Term 1 to go!

As we move into our last week of November, we have a few school notices to share:

  • After School Clubs are 3 weeks into their sessions and there are still some outstanding payments to be made. If you need details on how to make payments, contact Mrs Carter in our office. Gymnastics will be back after Christmas, as it has been very popular, and can be booked in the usual way.
  • Stargazing is our event on 26th (Wednesday). We will send out final details later today regarding starting times and general communications. Even if the weather doesn’t allow a dramatic view of the skies above, it promises to be an informative evening for everyone. As communicated previously, if it proves successful, then we will look to repeat it in the next term for those not able to attend this time.
  • We have some very busy school weeks ahead, with a range of learning experiences for our pupils. Many of these dates will have been communicated via Class Dojo and teacher newsletters.

  2. 3. “Confident Parenting” session for Year 5 families in our hall 1:15 – 3:15pm (you need to book a space via email with Mrs Burke)
    4. Chestnut and Rowan Classes to Taunton Minster to decorate the Christmas trees 5th December
    Celebration Worship (Sport and Music) 5th December
  3. 6. Dress Down Friday 5th December (more details to follow for PTA requests!)

  3. NATIVITY “Baaarmy Bethlehem” 2 performances (2:15pm and 5:30pm)

  1. Key Stage 2 Christmas Services @ St Mary’s Church 18th December
  2. Last day: Wear Your Christmas Jumper Day!

Intermingled with these fantastic events is a lot of learning still to do for our pupils and professional discussion for staff via Young Somerset, Pupil Progress meetings and Governing Body Committee meetings.
