Straight from the Head 6.6.25

Date: 6th Jun 2025 @ 5:36pm

Thank you to all the families that attended our Sports Day, today. The atmosphere was brilliant from 9am all the way through, and our pupils' attitude has been exemplary. Years 5 and 6 really showed themselves as role models with our younger pupils for our Sports Morning, guiding them around the various activities. Huge thanks to Miss Davenport and Mr Gunstone for the organisation and vision for the day.

  • All clubs are up on our payment system and ready for families. Any money from these clubs will be ploughed back into their resourcing. For example, Computing Club are using hardware such as our bee-bots as well as online coding sites, which we will pay for and create online games from next week. Football Club will buy us more footballs and wev'e also bought more chess boards, as that seems to be exploding!

    - Our website has a 'Working for Us' page and it holds our latest vacancy detail. Please do share it with anyone who may be interested! Click Here!

    - We will also move our Dress Down Friday to NEXT WEEK 13th June, except for Year 6 who will be visiting the Fleet Air Arm Museum.

    - As we write about events, we have updated our events page on the website with the latest information, as we know them so far. Click here!

    - Finally, I would like to thank Holly Stevens, Sarah Hampson and Rev Julie Kimber for their support and guidance, this week. As part of the Seven Sowers Benefice, they have created a beautiful prayer space at St Thomas Chruch, where all families can journey and take time to think about our brilliant former pupil Maddi Bray. Please do see if you can get there. It is open to all.
