Weather Update Thursday Morning

Monitoring the local weather reports for the next 16hrs, it is a mixed picture! There are issues with iced roads and wintry conditions.Our Cleaning team are in school for 7am and will give me a general report on the conditions around school. At this point,

Weather: we currently have snow at school, but it isn’t heavy and the ground is wet, so nothing is sticking. As always, we will monitor the situation, but the weather forecast does not pose any imminent concern. I know on higher ground – Staple Fitzpaine

COVID….Strep A…..and now we have a number of cases of empetigo in school. The advice we follow from the Public Health Agency is as follows: Recommendation period to be kept away from school is until lesions are crusted and healed, or 48hrs after commencing antibiotic
