We currently have 7 members of Thurlbear staff off with COVID, which is putting a huge strain on human resources across the school. We also had 41 pupils off with COVID and general illness such as chicken pox.
– I am currently teaching full time in year 3, so cannot reply to any emails in ‘teaching time’, so please direct any emails to the Office Team
– We are going to have to look at our Breakfast Club and After School provision as soon as possible, as we have huge strain on our staffing capacity. As most of you will be aware, our staff in this area are also our cleaning team and lunchtime team, so we have a complex picture to unpick. This decision will not be taken lightly, however it does need to be reviewed under our current circumstances. I will let you know by Friday.
