Today has been a fantastic Friday for for all kinds of interesting learning. Our whole-school focus was the brilliant book “Here We Are” and every class took it on their own learning journey from poetry, to non-chronological reports, to art and science.
Every class showed their enthusiasm and passion for learning and was very impressed to, once again, see the Thurlbear Spirit on display for all the school to see. By this, I mean the friendship, patience, love and enthusiasm shown by pupils to their peers and those in other classes. it was a real celebration of learning. We also celebrated a “Hint of a Book”, with pupils giving a small clue as to what book they love to read. I could guess a few, but not too many!
