Parents of prospective pupils must, in advance, contact the school during the school day, so we can organise a planned, safe visit with all COVID-19 school regulations in mind. This will still give you a good flavour of our school life and community.

It was a special moment at Thurlbear, yesterday, as we held our own 2-minute silence in honour of all those that have given their lives in wars and conflicts around the world. Our pupils, from 4 to 11, were impeccably behaved during the reflection time.
Villagers walked past and remarked on our pupils’ conduct and the ethos. It was a proud moment for me, as Head, and for our teachers watching on. Our poppy wreaths have been placed on the fence for the whole of our school community to admire.
