My Computer Club on a Friday has been a brilliant session and we have created a lot of digital content – including the digital banners you can see in this post (Lilly made the one, above!) Next week – 22nd – they will be creating their own blog posts to go on the website, so look for them.
Our Celebration Worships have been a great opportunity to share in our good works and come together in a unifying ethos of friendship and respect. The story of Nehemiah featured today and Barny had some great words: “The story allows us to talk about how we respond to struggles in our lives. We may not have to work to rebuild walls around our town, this week, but there might be something that we are finding difficult or occasions when we feel like giving up!” I hope, this weekend, you all find that peace to enjoy some time with those around you, and celebrate the good things in your life.
I have a wonderful visit into Chestnut Class, today, and marvelled at their independent creativity, resilience and joy for their learning. Watching them master their fine motor controls was a real privilege and definitely one of the best parts of my job.
Our menus have gone out, today (Friday) and please get them back to us no later than Wednesday 20th as BAM cannot process orders after this.
Next Friday (22nd) is an extra-Dress Down Friday in support of the PTA Easter Raffle. This will be a busy day as the raffle will also be drawn on the same day! PLEASE support it by bringing in an Easter-themed donation on the Friday and these will quickly be turned into super prizes for the draw!
Information will be coming out via teachers regarding Foundation Stage and Key Stage 1 Bonnets and Easter Service, as well as Key Stage 2 Easter Service.
