I held a Collective Worship online, today, and mentioned Golden Rule 7 and your child will recite to you: “Do Be Safe!”
Today was incredibly hot in school, both in the grounds and in the classrooms. Please, please ensure that hats, suncream and water bottles are all in school, as the conditions look like they are continuing. If anyone comes home over the next few days and says: “It’s not fair! We couldn’t play football, today!” it is simply because some of our pupils will run themselves into the ground without realising the danger they put themselves in!
We will utilise the outside classroom shade as well as the trees at the side of the field for shade and cooler conditions.
