Many of you will be concerned by the news items of Strep A cases nationally. I just wanted to tell you that I have been in touch with Somerset County Council asking for the latest advice and guidance. SCC Public Health are preparing a statement at the moment following briefings due today nationally and regionally from UKHSA (UK Health Security Agency). As soon as it is published, I will pass it on. Please be assured that, in school, we remain as vigilant as possible to our pupils’ care, health and safety.
